Mount Olive

We return today to the second of our three mountain tops. The first was Mt. Transfiguration and today’s is Mt. Olive. Here, on this mountaintop Jesus struggles with and overcomes greatest temptations - to turn away from His mission… to turn away from us. Temptations, that if surrendered to, would mean our eternal separation from the Father. Jesus sets us a tremendous example of how struggle with and overcome our temptations – by leaning in and on the Father’s will.
