Worship is a time for you to rest! Come and rest in God's loving arms. His arms are wide open and yearning to embrace you. 

How does He embrace us? - Glad you asked - His Word! It is powerful and communicates God's love for you. He also comforts us through His Sacraments: Baptism and Holy Communion. 

In Baptism, we are washed clean of all our sins, which is why we begin each worship service, "In the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit." This provides us a chance to remember that we are baptized children of God who are forgiven and love. 

In Holy Communion, God feeds us: literally and spiritually. Literally, through bread and wine and spiritually, through Jesus' Body and Blood.
